POCOLA, Okla. (September 17, 2018) – Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola announced today the October entertainment at Gilley’s. Local country and rock favorites will perform free concerts all month long! Mark your calendars the hot up-and-coming country duo Maddie & Tae, on Oct. 20. Other artists to perform throughout the month include, Aaron Tippin, Hillbilly Vegas, Brent Giddens Band and more. These free live music events begin at 10:00 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.

Hillbilly Vegas: Friday, October 5

Hillbilly Vegas is a southern rock country band. They have come a long way from their first acoustic gig and now can be described with deeper attitude and edge with their fiery rockin’ music and high energy performances.

Arron Tippin: Saturday, October 6

Aaron Tippin, a country music artist that made it big in the 90s is celebrating his silver anniversary in country music this year.  During his 25 year career he has charted more than thirty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including three Number Ones: “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong with the Radio,” “That’s as Close as I’ll Get to Loving You” and “Kiss This.”

Ty England & the Arbuckle Xpress Band: Friday, October 12

Ty England and The Arbuckle Xpress Band have collaborated together to give the audience an unforgettable show. Ty England is a country music singer and guitarist. Formally a member of the Garth Brook’s band, England has charted six singles on the country chart. Arbuckle Xpress Band is a high energy country/rock band.

Bill Bear & the Red Brick Troubadours: Saturday, October 13

Bill Bear & the Red Brick Troubadours write, sing, and play their own brand of country music. It can be described as traditional country music mixed with a little blues, rock, and whatever else they feel like playing. They are sure to keep you dancing all night long.

Brent Giddens Band: Friday, October 19

Brent Giddens is a country singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who puts his heart and soul into writing and singing his music. The band is recognized as one of the top country and red dirt bands in the area. Their creative lyrics and simple cadence are sure to tug on your heart strings.

Maddie & Tae: Saturday, October 20

Maddie & Tae are a female country music duo, both of whom are singers, songwriters and guitarists. Their single, “Girl in a Country Song” became the first debut single by a female duo in 2014. The pair, from Texas and Oklahoma, are a vibrant duo who are sure to put on a show-stopping performance.

Chris Colston: Friday, October 26

An East Texas native, Chris Colston is a southern rock and country artist. Influenced by country legends such as, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson, they helped him create his own musical style of what he describes as, “gritty Texas roots combined with rock n roll”.

Matt Castillo: Saturday, October 27

This talented five-man band has provided audiences across the Lone Star state with amazing performances with their catchy and rhythmic music. The group was nominated at the 2016 Texas Regional Music Awards for “New Band/Duo of the year” alongside top artist, Randy Rogers. Closing out the month, this high energy band is sure to give an amazing performance you won’t want to miss!

This month’s concert series at Gilley’s will begin at 10:00 p.m. every weekend. The concerts are free to guests to listen to while sipping on a wide selection of beers, or cocktails at the full-service bar. You must be 21 or older to attend.
