DURANT, Okla. (August 28, 2019) – The countdown to 2020 officially begins as, Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant announced the New Year’s weekend performers! Leading up to Wednesday’s New Year’s Eve celebration, The Grand Theater will host top country and rock acts including LANCO & Diamond Rio on Friday, Dec. 27 and Steve Miller Band on Saturday, Dec. 28. On Dec. 31 ring in the new year with multi-platinum rock trio ZZ top.

Two big concerts, one great night at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant. Crafting feel-good country anthems tinged with classic rock and blues edge, LANCO consists of five talented musicians who have set themselves apart as feel-good storytellers. Hits include, “Greatest Love Story,” “Born to Love You” and “Rival.”

Diamond Rio has sold more than 10 million albums, won a GRAMMY Award and has six Vocal Group of the Year wins between both Country Music Association Awards and Academy of County Music Awards. Top hits include, “Norma Jean Riley,” “Beautiful Mess” and “This Romeo Ain’t Got Julie Yet.”

WHAT:         

Steve Miller Band, has been a presence in the rock ‘n’ roll scene for more than half a century. The band is led by Steve Miller on guitar and lead vocals. The group is best known for a string of 1970s hits that are staples of classic rock radio, as well as psychedelic rock albums. In 2016, Miller was inducted as a solo artist in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Fan favorites include, “Living in the U.S.A.,” “Joker,” “Gangster of Love” and more!

Recently celebrating their 50^th anniversary, rock band ZZ Top plays music that is eminently powerful, profoundly soulful and instantly recognizable. Selling 11 gold, seven platinum and three multi-platinum albums ZZ Top is amongst the top 100-best-selling artists in the United States. Concert goers are sure to hear hits from “Cheap Sunglasses,” “La Grange,” “Tush” and more.

Tickets for all three concerts are on sale now and can be purchased on ticketmaster.com. The concerts will begin at 8:00 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m. All performances will take place at the Grand Theater at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant is located at 4216 S.
