American rock band Everclear was formed in Portland, Oregon in 1991 by singer and guitarist Art Alexakis. Known for their blend of alternative rock and post-grunge sound, the band rose to fame in the 1990s with hit songs like Santa Monica, Father of Mine and Wonderful. Their music often explores personal themes such as family struggles, relationships and resilience, helping build a loyal fan base and to become one of the defining rock acts of the decade.
