J.B. Smoove is an American comedian, actor, and writer best known for his quick wit, sharp improvisational style, and larger-than-life personality. Born Jerry Angelo Brooks in Plymouth, North Carolina, he rose to prominence as a writer and performer on Saturday Night Live before gaining widespread recognition for his role as Leon Black on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
