DURANT, Okla. (Aug. 20, 2026)- Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant is hosting the Ultimate ‘80s Weekend Sept. 10-12. The weekend will feature giveaways, ‘80s swag and exciting live entertainment.

Gilley’s will have free live entertainment, with Van Halen cover band Next Halen performing on Friday and AC/DC cover band Back in Black taking the stage Saturday.

Twisted Sister, with Sebastian Bach on lead vocals, and will be performing at the award-winning Choctaw Grand Theater on Saturday. Twisted Sister is known for hits like “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” and “I Wanna Rock,” while Simmons will be performing hits from his band, KISS, who’s known for “Rock and Roll All Nite” and “I Was Made For Lovin’ You.” Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and Simmons takes the stage at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $78 and can be purchased here.

Ways to Win Big

On Thursday, the first 200 guests to earn 25 tier credits, and redeem their credits at any Choctaw Rewards Club between 12:30-3:45 p.m., have a chance to win big on the Diggin’ Bros Slot Pull.

On Friday, guests have a chance to walk away with thousands in cash or a 2026 Retro Ford Bronco in the Totally ‘80s Giveaway. There will be a $25,000 cash drawing at 5 p.m., $15,000 cash drawings every hour from 6-11 p.m. and a $25,000 cash drawing at midnight. At 1 a.m., one lucky guest will win a Ford Bronco.
