FRISCO, Texas (Aug. 31, 2026) – The PGA of America today announced Choctaw Casinos & Resorts as the Official Casino Resort and Official Community Partner of the 2027 PGA Championship, set for May 17–23, 2027, at PGA Frisco. The partnership builds on Choctaw Casinos & Resorts’ commitment to championship golf in North Texas, as the PGA Championship returns to the area for the first time in more than 60 years. The 2027 event will also commemorate the centennial of the first PGA Championship played in Texas in 1927, at Cedar Crest in Dallas.

During Championship week, Choctaw Casinos & Resorts will transform the Ice House located in the PGA District into the “Choctaw Ice House,” an all-inclusive, climate-controlled, premium  daily hospitality venue. The ranch-style venue will include exclusive food and beverage offerings, specialty cocktails, branded gifts, and interactive activations designed to celebrate the partnership. Choctaw Ice House ticket holders will also receive access to a dedicated viewing area located behind the ninth green, allowing spectators to enjoy up-close views of major championship golf. Daily VIP hospitality tickets inside the Choctaw Ice House were made available for purchase and completely sold out within three weeks, reflecting the unprecedented demand surrounding the 2027 PGA Championship.

Beyond the hospitality venue, Choctaw Casinos & Resorts will offer all spectators a branded photo opportunity outside the Choctaw Ice House and an interactive activation space featuring casino-themed games, giveaways, prizes and additional experiences. In the months leading up to the Championship, Choctaw Casinos & Resorts will promote the event through activations at its casino and resort properties.

Interest in the 2027 PGA Championship has already reached record levels. More than 155,000 people registered for ticket access—the highest total in Championship history—and tickets for all four Championship Rounds, Thursday through Sunday, are sold out more than nine months before the event.

Approximately 200,000 spectators are expected to attend, while global broadcast coverage will reach nearly 500 million households in more than 170 countries. The Championship will bring together 156 of the world’s top players and the strongest field in golf to compete for the iconic Wanamaker Trophy.
