Tickets Are on Sale This Friday for the August 12 Concert

DURANT, Okla., (April 4, 2023) –Rock and Roll legends Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Night Ranger will take the stage at The Grand Theater at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant on Friday, August 25. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 7.

Jett grew up in a time when rock ‘n’ roll was off limits to girls and women, but after forming her band, the Blackhearts, in 1979, she quickly proved herself as a musical force. She remains one of the most beloved and influential artists in popular music. She recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of her influential albums, “Bad Reputation” and “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

Joan Jett & the Blackhearts are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and have scored eight platinum and gold records and nine Top 40 singles, including the classics “Bad Reputation,” “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll,” “I Hate Myself for Loving You,” and “Crimson and Clover.”

Heavy-hitting rock legends, Night Ranger has sold over 17 million albums worldwide, exemplifying the arena rock sound and style well beyond that era. Their widespread recognition includes multi-platinum and gold album status with recognizable hits including “Sister Christian,” “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me,” “When You Close Your Eyes,” and “(You Can Still) Rock in America.”

Night Ranger was one of MTV’s first big “video” bands, with over ten #1 hit videos. They recently released their 12th studio album, “ATBPO” (And The Band Played On), an ode to making music during the covid era.
