Celebrate Independence Day 2019 at Choctaw Casinos

DURANT, Okla. (July 1, 2019) – Choctaw Casinos & Resorts celebrate Independence Day with communities all over southeastern Oklahoma. From July 3 to July 7 enjoy free entertainment, firework shows, giveaways and more at select Choctaw Casino properties.

 

BROKEN BOW

On Wednesday, July 3 festivities will begin at 7 p.m. as guests can enjoy a watch party before the firework show. Burgers, hot dogs, beer and soda will be available for purchase before the firework show.

The spectacular firework show will begin at 9 p.m. and after the show, enjoy free entertainment at the Oak Tree Lounge to keep the celebration going as Cole Scoggins is performing.  His album, “A Good Night,” was released September 2018. Scoggins will perform original songs from his album as well as traditional country hits.

The party continues throughout the weekend at Oak Tree Lounge featuring two bands that with high energy shows that are sure to keep the crowd rocking all night long. Whiskey River Road will perform on Friday, July 5. This honky-tonk country cover band knows how to entertain a crowd and keep them two-stepping all night. Concert starts at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 6 enjoy Twisted Whisky as the play a variety of music ranging from Merle Haggard, Bruno Mars Van Halen and anything in-between. This five-man band is here to rock the night away. Concert starts at 9:30 p.m.

DURANT

Let Freedom Ride July 4 through July 7. Eligible rewards members can win their chance at $300,000 cash or one of three red, white or blue, new Corvettes.

Beginning at dusk on Thursday, July 4 the annual firework show will light up the sky over the property to celebrate the Nation’s birthday.

The fun doesn’t end on July 4, Gilley’s will host free country performances by Will Banister on, July 5 and Micky & The Motorcars July 6. Concerts start at 9:30 p.m. and you must be 21 or older to attend.

The Grand Theater will feature top performers including The Ultimate Queen Celebration starring Mark Martel on Friday, July 5 and country rock band Koe Wetzel on Saturday, July 6. Concerts begin at 8 p.m.

La Cantina revamped their menu! Taste all the new delicious food and drinks during their new menu launch party July 4 through 7.

GRANT

At dusk on July 3 enjoy the captivating firework show where you will see every shade and hue as we celebrate this great country.

The River Bar & Grill will have performances you won’t want to miss this holiday weekend! Recent “The Voice” contestant, Trey Rose will perform on July 3. Growing up with influences like Matchbox Twenty, Counting Crows and Gavin Degraw, Trey’s versatile vocal range and ability to connect with his audience set him apart for other artists in his genre of music. On July 5, rock out to 80s rock cover band, The Jerry Tims Band. Their band covers the likes of, Journey, Van Halen, Creed, Dirks Bentley and many more. Both shows start at 10 p.m.

July 4, 5 and 6 eligible rewards members could win a chance into our drawings for a Great Escape Roxor ATV giveaway.

POCOLA

On Thursday, July 4, the sky will light up in an array of colors for all to be entertained. Show starts around 9:30 p.m.

The Fourth of July weekend will be full of entertainment as Gilley’s will host two amazing local favorites. Friday, July 5, high-energy cover band Larry B and the Cradle Rockers are back to rock the night away and Saturday, July 6, up-and-coming country sensation Mike Ryan. Both performances begin at 9 p.m.

July 4 through July 6 guests can win their share of free play and car prizes. Happening every half-hour from 4 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Red, White and Win drawings will take place equaling out to $100,000. July 5 and 6 eligible rewards members could win a Chevy Camaro or Dodge Charger.

STRINGTOWN

On Friday, July 5 enjoy free live music, food vendors, fireworks and more all nightlong!

Awaiting the highly anticipated firework show, enjoy a variety of food vendors. Fry Bread Express, Roadkings and Snowbyrds Shaved Ice will have food for purchase starting at 6 p.m. Get in the patriotic spirit by taking a photo with friends and family at the complimentary photobooth from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Kicking off the festivities, Jakus White and Bo Phillips will perform outside leading up to the firework show. Rock out with local fan favorite, Jakus White. His red dirt country blends know how to get the party started. Concert begins at 6:30 p.m.

Bo Phillips brings an electric variety of musical influences with him to the stage. You’ll hear soulful ballads, gritty lead rides and toe-tapping favorites. Fans can look forward to hearing “Red Dirt Girl,” “21 Guns,” “Never” and more. Concert starts at 8 p.m.

Don’t miss your chance to catch the biggest and brightest firework show in Atoka County at 9:30 p.m. Succeeding the firework show, make your way inside to Crossroads where Jenna Pebworth will perform at 10 p.m.

July 5 and 6 eligible rewards members can participate in the Patriotic Payday where guests have a chance at $500 every hour from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
