POCOLA, Okla. (Sept. 4, 2019) – This September marks an important milestone for Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola, the resort is celebrating 25 amazing years! The one-stop entertainment destination in the Fort Smith area is celebrating with live entertainment, extraordinary promotions and more!

When the casino first opened, it only offered high-stakes bingo. Two and a half decades later, the casino has built a hospitality enterprise from the ground up offering more than 1,700 slot games, live poker, table games, Racebook, a 118-room hotel and several dining and entertainment options.

“We’ve grown so much over the last 25 years,” states Retha Hull, a 25-year casino employee, that began her career as a waitress and is now a revenue auditor. “Our bingo hall was a tin building with a mud lot as a parking lot. Now our location consists of so much more. We’re so proud of what we’ve built and are excited for what the future will hold.”

“When we first opened, high stakes Choctaw Bingo was the exciting entertainment,” states Christy Chaser, General Manager of Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola. “We had gone through weeks of training for the grand opening and I was still not prepared for the hundreds that were lined up to buy their bingo packs!”

Also, enjoy $2.50 margaritas, $2.50 biscuits and gravy at Coffee Café and $25 prime rib dinner for two on Tuesdays at Trophy’s Bar & Grill. Also, guests can win their share of $100,000 in cash, prizes and a corvette. On Sept. 27 and 28 the official birthday party commences with commemorative shirts and cupcakes.
