POCOLA, Okla. (June 29, 2025) – Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola named its first $100,000 winner of the “Million Dollar Summer” promotion early Sunday morning. James T. of Fort Smith, Arkansas, became the first of three lucky Choctaw Rewards Club members to win $100,000.

“I came out tonight because I thought I might win $100,000,” said James T. of Fort Smith. “Choctaw Pocola is my favorite place to play because it’s close to home. The food is great here, and I am excited I won.”

James T. is semi-retired and enjoys stopping by Choctaw Casino & Resort- Pocola a couple times a week. He plans to use his $100,000 win for everyday expenses.

“Today marks the first of our three $100,000 giveaways, and we’re excited to create a life-changing moment for our guests,” said Britta Erickson, regional marketing director for Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola. “We’re always looking for opportunities to elevate the guest and player experience at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola and the ‘Million Dollar Summer’ is the perfect way to do that.”

Guests have a chance to win a share of $1 million during Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola’s “Million Dollar Summer.” There are two more chances to win $100,000 on July 26 and August 30. Guests can also earn entries by playing with their rewards card for $10,000 drawings held every two hours from 7 p.m. – 1 a.m. every Saturday in July and August. Guests can also play table games on Sundays for additional chances to win $10,000.
