Gilley’s Feature Country Legend Mark Chesnutt at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola this June

POCOLA, Okla., (May 20, 2019) – Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola announced today the June entertainment at Gilley’s and CenterStage. Enjoy all your favorite country performers as they deliver free concerts throughout the month. Mark your calendars for country legend Mark Chesnutt on June 8. Other artists include, Stoney LaRue, Brandon Butler, Troy Cartwright, Ray Fulcher and Joe Diffie. These free live music events will begin at 9 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.

 

Stoney LaRue: Saturday, June 1

Stoney LaRue, known for his hits songs “Feet Don’t Touch the Ground,” “Look at Me Fly,” and “Oklahoma Breakdown,” will start the summer off at CenterStage for a jaw-dropping performance. LaRue has sold more than one million records and plays 200 plus shows a year. He released his latest single “You Oughta Know” in Nov. 2018. His new album is slated to be released sometime this year.

 

Brandon Butler: Friday, June 7, 14 and 21, 28

Lead vocalist and guitarist of The Brandon Butler Band will hit the Gilley’s stage four times this month. Brandon Butler and his four-man band consist of a mixture of individuals who are influenced by a wide variety of top performers from Leann Rimes to Keith Urban to ZZ Top.

 

Mark Chesnutt: Saturday, June 8

Mark Chesnutt is one of country music’s true musical treasures. He has 14 No. 1 hits, 23 top ten singles, four platinum albums and five golden records. Chesnutt believes his music possesses both style with substance, which makes him stand out from other artists in the industry. Chesnutt has a knack for writing and performing great songs such as, “Almost Goodbye,” “Brother Jukebox,” and “Too Cold at Home.” Chesnutt has developed an unmatched crowd-pleasing rapport you won’t want to miss!

 

Troy Cartwright: Saturday, June 15

Troy Cartwright is a country singer-songwriter who divides his time between songwriting and performing. Having toured with Brothers Osborne, Gary Allan, Cole Swindle and other country greats, Cartwright sound is often described as an appealing, warm and friendly voice. He writes songs that are about coming and going, uncertainties in life, change and finding yourself. Hit songs include, “Hung Up on You,” “Busted,” and “My Girl.”

 

Joe Diffie: Saturday, June 22

Joe Diffie is best known for his unique contemporary country, traditional sensibilities to humorous, rock-tinged novelties and ballads. Diffie became a regular hit-maker over the ‘90s with fan favorites such as “Is It Cold in Here” and “Home.” Diffie returned to the country scene in 2013, he provided the chorus of Jason Aldean’s party hit “1994.” That same year Diffie, among fellow country singers Sammy Kershaw and Aaron Tippin, released an accompanying album titled, “All in the Same Boat.” 

 

Ray Fulcher: Saturday, June 29

Country music means more than honky tonkin’ and sad songs to singer and songwriter Ray Fulcher, it’s about a way of life. Fulcher has played beside artists such as David Nail, Dustin Lynch, Lee Brice and more. In 2016, Fulcher released his EP “Here We Go Again,” which debuted in the top 10 of the country charts and led to a tour, “This Ones For You”  in 2017 with Luke Combs. Two new singles have been released this year by Fulcher, “Anything Like You Dance” in February and “Life After Your Leaving” in April.

 

This month’s concert series at Gilley’s will be held every weekend throughout the month of June. The concerts are free to guests to listen to while enjoying a wide selection of beer or cocktails at the full-service bar. You must be 21 or older to attend.
