Gilley’s Feature Grammy Award-Winning Band Shenandoah at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola this April

POCOLA, Okla., (April 9, 2019) – Choctaw Casino & Resort- Pocola will host more free entertainment this month at Gilley’s. Enjoy your favorite country, bluegrass and cover band performers as they deliver free concerts throughout the month. Mark your calendars for Tracy Byrd on Apr. 12. Other artists include Shenandoah, Backroad Anthem and more. These free live music events will begin at 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.

 

Backroad Anthem: Friday, April. 5, 19 and 26

Hitting the stage three times this month will be country/rock band, Backroad Anthem. Consisting of six gentlemen Backroad Anthem’s music can be described as contemporary county, with each member bringing a different influence to the bands overall sound ranging from hard rock to bluegrass and ‘90s country.

 

Tracy Byrd: Friday, April 12

Celebrating his 25 years as a recording artist, Tracy Byrd will take the stage to deliver an amazing performance. With 34 singles and 10 studio albums, Tracy Byrd is back at it touring North America. His first No. 1 hit was in 1993 with “Holdin’ Heaven” and he continued to release show stoppers including, “Watermelon Crawl,” “I’m From The Country” and “The Keeper of the Stars,” which won?? the Country Music Award Song of the Year honor in 1994.

 

Dillon Carmichael: Saturday, April 13

Dillon Carmichael’s music is a collaboration between outlaw country and southern rock. His first two singles “Old Songs Like That,” released in October 2017, and “Made to Be a Country Boy,” released in February 2018, received positive accolades from the country music press. Carmichael’s first full-length album “Hell on an Angel” was released in October 2018, which won over fans and critics alike. Other hits include, “Dancing Away With My Heart” and “It’s Simple.”

 

William Clark Green: Saturday, April 20

With four critically esteemed album releases under his belt, William Clark Green is a force to be reckoned with on the country music scene. His debut hit single “It’s About Time” earned Green his first Top Ten song on Texas radio and his follow up single “She Likes The Beatles” scored him the No. 1 position on both the Texas Music Chart and the Texas Regional Radio Report.

 

Shenandoah: Saturday, April 27

Shenandoah, Grammy award-winning band, has charted 26 show-stopping singles from “Two Dozen Roses” to “Next To You, Next To Me”. Earlier this year, Shenandoah premiered a brand new music video on CMT for their new single, “That’s Where I Grew Up,” featuring fellow country star, Michael Ray.

 

This month’s concert series at Gilley’s will be held every weekend throughout the month of April. The concerts are free to guests to listen to while enjoying a wide selection of beer or cocktails at the full-service bar. You must be 21 or older to attend.
