August 9, 2021

(DURANT, OKLA.) August 9, 2021 — The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association® (PRCA) and Choctaw Casinos & Resorts today announced a multi-year partnership that brands Choctaw as an Official National Partner of the PRCA, including sponsorship of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo® (NFR) and several rodeos in Oklahoma. The three-year agreement covers all 2021, 2022 and 2023 NFR events.

“This is a very proud moment for us,” said PRCA CMO Steve Rempelos. “It’s extremely gratifying when you can partner with an organization whose beliefs align with ours. We believe this is just the start to a long-term mutually beneficial relationship.”

“We are thrilled to partner with the PRCA in sponsorship of the bullfighters of the National Finals Rodeo and other rodeos across the state of Oklahoma,” said Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Chief Gary Batton. “As the ‘world’s oldest and biggest rodeo organization,’ PRCA is a leading entertainment brand that has brought fun and enjoyment to generations of families. This is an excellent opportunity for the Choctaw name to be seen at more than 700 events each year to over 40 million rodeo fans who all share our Choctaw values of Faith, Family and Culture.”

In partnership with the PRCA, Choctaw will receive endorsements with select PRCA athletes, branding on the bullfighters’ jerseys, sponsorship of the NFR back number announcement and custom content in PRCA and NFR advertising. On a community level, Choctaw will be the official sponsor of a number of Oklahoma rodeos over the coming years.
