October 24, 2023

$1 million main event

DURANT, Okla. (Oct. 24, 2023)- The Worlds Series of Poker is back inside Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant for the second time this year.

The World Series of Poker Circuit will be played inside the award-winning Grand Theater from Oct. 25-Nov. 5 with cash games available in the poker room inside Sky Tower.

The last WSOP circuit at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant ended with a fun twist, as 21-year-old Southern Methodist University soccer player Harvey Castro walked away with $275,660 in the main event.

Castro is a perfect example of how accessible the World Series of Poker Circuit can be. He started playing poker for fun a few years ago, gradually getting more serious about the game before walking away with his largest win in Durant. Players at any level can enter and leave a winner, whether they’ve been playing for decades or just started.

The tournament will kick off on Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. with a $300 No-Limit Hold ‘Em Monster Deepstack with a $30,000 prize pool. There will be multiple seniors events and a ladies event, as well as big-money games like the “The Gargantuan” with a $100,000 prize pool. The main event, with a $1 million prize pool, will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 3, 4 and 5.

You can enter the tournament with your Choctaw Rewards Club card inside the Grand Theater on the day of the event you plan to play in. For special tournament hotel rates, type in offer code “WSOP23” when booking online or call 888.652.4628 and mention offer code “WSOP23.”
