DURANT, Okla. (Sept. 8, 2023)- Choctaw Casinos & Resorts introduced two new table games this week at its Pocola and Durant properties.

On Wednesday, Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola became the first Oklahoma casino to offer three-dice baccarat. Baccarat is a fast and fun guessing game where players bet on whether the banker hand or player hand has a higher value. Three-dice baccarat is played like regular baccarat, but with dice instead of cards. Up to eight bonus wagers can be played each roll. This table game is available Monday-Thursday after 6 p.m. and all day Friday and Saturday.

“We’re excited to be the first casino in Oklahoma to add three-dice baccarat,” Pocola table games manager Tyler Nunley said.  “It’s a great addition to our table games, and it offers guests another exciting option to choose from when they hit the gaming floor.”

In addition to three-dice baccarat, Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola has 15 table games including, live roulette, blackjack, Blazing 7 Blackjack Progressive, bonus craps, three card poker, Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em, WTP Heads Up Hold ‘Em and live craps.

On Friday, Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant added Spanish 21 to its table game options. Spanish 21 is a variation of Blackjack where 10s are removed from the deck and the dealer holds on 17. The game offers players more ways to walk away with cash.

“Spanish 21 is a great game to add to the floor because it gives our guests more chances to win” Matt Maddox, the director of table games at Durant, said. “This form of blackjack features multiple bonuses, including automatic wins when a guest gets a 21. It’s a fun variation where players have a chance to ‘Match the Dealer’ with a side bet that pays when either of the initial two cards dealt match the dealer’s up card.”
